SCCSA Challenge Cup

This is an annual competition held in the June school holidays annually - one day Carnival hosted by SCCSA on a Saturday (announced annually).  

Age groups from U9 to Seniors including U13 Girls, U16 Girls & Senior Women (all games played on Full size Field)

Unique fair play award system in place to win Challenge cup

All games played on the Sunshine Coast

The focus and winner of the tournament is based on a Fair Play Award rather than results.  The Fair play award is to encourage the positive spirit in which sport should be played.  This is assessed at the end of the game by the referees using the following three categories, Best Team Spirit (Encouragement to all players), Best Coaching Spirit (both on and off the field) and Best attitude to Referee (from players and spectators).

The Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer adopted the Fair Play award to encourage a fun and safe environment so that everyone can enjoy a positive experience without abuse, harassment, or discrimination.
